Elmhurst School

An Academy of the Great Learners Trust

Jonathan Page Play Centre After School Provision

We welcome all children from the age of 4 up to their 13th birthday from all schools, so it's a great place for your child to make new friends in a safe, stimulating and, above all, fun environment. The centre has been rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted in December 2018.

Your child can choose between structured activities and free play opportunities which take place indoors and outdoors ranging from arts and crafts, board games, table football, ball games, pool table, role play, a wide range of toys and books and much more. The secure outdoor area has a multi-use games area, football pitch, go-kart track, activity climbing frames and a Learning Lodge which enables the children to spend plenty of time in the fresh air no matter what the weather is like.

Our qualified and DBS checked play workers understand the importance of play, taking a keen interest in each child’s development, providing fun activities which meet each child’s social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional needs.

Caring for your children after school in our After School Club
We offer a friendly and relaxed environment for your child to enjoy after the school day.

We know and understand that most children are hungry straight after school. This is why we provide a healthy snack sat at a table so everyone can socialise and catch up. The children help clear up and are encouraged to try new foods.

After their snack, the children play with our vast range of toys, get creative at the craft table, play outdoors, and generally have lots of fun with their friends until they are collected by their parents/guardians. Our team has regular feedback sessions with the children talking about ideas for future topics, what they enjoy and what they don’t do that the team can plan effectively.

Hours: The After School Club runs from 3.15pm to 6pm Monday to Friday during term time.
Prices for session with collection from Elmhurst School - £10.75 per child per session
