Festivals and Events

Interschool Events

As a member of the Mandeville School Sports Partnership we are currently taking part in the virtual Bucks MK Commonwealth Games Cup. Throughout this event each year group will get a turn to complete an activity, linked to a sport, to earn points for our school. This event runs from November through until February. The first 6 weeks of the event are outlined below: 

Week 1 - Year 6 Cricket

Week 2 - Year 3 Netball

Week 3 - Year 1 Volleyball

Week 4 - Year 5 Basketball

Week 5 - Year 4 Squash

Week 6 - Year 2 Athletics

Throughout the year there will be other opportunities for us to take part in Festivals held by our School Sports Partnership as well as those organised by our School Games Organiser. 

In addition to the above, we are taking part in the Great Learners Trust Under 11 Football League in its debut season which will involve fixtures against other GLT schools, for our Year 5 and 6 children. 

In School Events

We are going to be hosting a variety of inspiring and engaging events throughout the year at Elmhurst. We have had fantastic visits from the BMX Academy and from Grey Goose archery already this year. We are also looking forward to having street dance workshops with Urban Strides, which are coming up in March.
