Values
- Aspire - Limitless potential is possible for all learners; aim high and commit to your dreams.
- Create - Creativity is key in the ever-changing world; adapt and be creative in all areas of your life.
- Think - Being thoughtful; solve problems, compete with the best and be the leaders of the future.
Promoting Fundamental British Values
In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.
The Key Values are:
- democracy
- rule of law
- individual liberty
- mutual respect
- tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
We teach and celebrate our school values and British Values through school assemblies, Learning for Life lessons, through our fundraising efforts and links with the local community and regularly within the classroom and in home learning especially through Project Guerrilla.
